Objectives
|
To produce a knowledgeable workforce -
both theoretical and practical - in media management,
advertising, public relations, and digital media as per
international standards.Areas of
concentration:
- PUBLIC RELATIONS: emphasizes both theory and
operations practice in planning, operations, media
production, research, evaluation and public
relations management that foster good relationship
between individuals and organizations.
- ADVERTISING: emphasizes both theory and
operations practice in planning, operations, media
production, research, evaluation and advertising
management such as marketing and sales mechanisms
and professional communication.
- COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT: emphasizes both
theory and operations practice in planning, policy,
communication strategy, communication research and
evaluation and communication management.
Students can study and research the topic hey are
most interested in and make it their research paper. |
Study Plans

The Master of Arts in
Communication Arts program
offers a thesis plan (Plan A) and a
non-thesis option plan (Plan B). |
- Plan A:
thesis option
Students who study in Plan B must complete the
curriculum requirement of 45 credits, including 15
credits of core courses, 15 credits of major
required courses, 3 credits of elective courses, and
12 credits of thesis.
- Plan B:
non-thesis
option
Students who study in Plan B must complete the
curriculum requirement of 45 credits, including 15
credits of core courses, 15 credits of major
required courses, 12 credits of elective courses,
and 3 credits of thesis.

Duration of Study
|
|
The Master of Arts in
Communication Arts program is a 2-year
program. Each student must complete all the requirements
for the degree within 4 years from the semester of first
enrollment. |
Academic Calendar

The academic year consists of two semesters per
years, each consisting of no less than 15 weeks. |
Evaluation and Graduate Requirements
|
|
Student
evaluation is conducted in accordance with Siam
University regulation. Grades for each course will be
entered on the student’s transcript by a letter grade
and a numerical equivalent as follows.
