TransportationWe wish you a pleasant flight to Thailand. Look for the APTA hostesses or the APTA booth when you proceed to the arrivals hall. APTA hostesses will assist you in finding transportation to your hotel. Arriving in BangkokDelegates arriving to Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi Airport) can enter the passenger terminal via the 2nd floor of the concourse building except bus gate passengers. At the terminal, there are passport control checkpoints where passenegers can collect their baggage from one of the 22 baggage conveyor belts, 17 of which are for international passengers and 5 are for domestic passengers. Once delegates have collected their baggage and passed the customs control checkpoints, they can proceed to the arrivals hall where they will be greeted by the APTA hostesses. Look for the APTA banner and counter if you do not see the hostesses. Airport to Hotel TransferFrom the airport, you can reach Imperial Queen's Park Hotel by limousine, taxi, express bus or use the complimentary shuttle van organized by Siam University, which leave the aiport at 9am and 3pm on July 9 and at 9am and 12pm (noon) on July 10, 2008. TAXI: Contact Taxi counter, Level 2 - Arrivals, near entrances 3, 4, 7 and 8. Prefer the taxi meter service to those who approach you to offer their taxi service, as the latter ones tend to overcharge. It is a 30 km ride and takes 45 to 60 minutes and costs about 350 B ($10-15 USD). See the map below for details on the route. AIRPORT EXPRESS BUS: Airport Express provides air-conditioned bus service between Suvarnabhumi Airport and various areas of Bangkok where hotels are concentrated. Choose route AE3 Suvarnabhumi - Sukhumvit - Wireless Road to bus stop nr. 6, Emporium/BTS Prom-Phong, and walk 5 minutes to the hotel. You can access the hotel from Benjasiri Park.
